When Stacy and Adair reached out to us about their elopement, we were immediately captivated by their story. They met on a dating app and started a long-distance relationship, making the 6.5-hour drives between Dallas and Baton Rouge totally worth it. Their connection grew into a true partnership, built on mutual respect and shared values.
For their special day, Stacy and Adair had a clear vision: a simple, intimate elopement ceremony surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the outdoors. We recommended Loveland Pass in Colorado with its stunning mountain views, and it ended up being the perfect setting for them to exchange their vows.
Stacy slipped into her wedding dress in a pop-up tent, which couldn’t have been more fitting for her adventurous spirit. After stepping out, Stacy and Adair shared their private “first look.” We took a moment to soak in the gorgeous scenery and capture some individual portraits while their friends and family arrived. Then, we corralled their small group of 12 guests and took the short hike to their ceremony site.
Stacy and Adair crafted their own intimate ceremony, blending their unique love story with meaningful Jewish traditions. They incorporated elements like singing the Ketubah, group readings, and the iconic smashing of the glass, adding layers of personal and cultural significance to their vows. It was a ceremony filled with genuine emotion, leaving all of us teary-eyed.
After the ceremony, Stacy and Adair handed out beautifully curated charcuterie boxes and sat down to enjoy them with their guests. Afterward, they hugged their family goodbye and enjoyed exploring Loveland Pass privately. The golden hour light cast a magical glow over the landscape, providing the perfect backdrop for them to roam and for us to capture their stunning photographs.
We then hopped in the car and took a short drive to one of the most unreal nearby locations. We led them to an open area where it felt like they had all the mountains to themselves. They shared the sweetest first dance, filled with giggles and spins.
