one year anniversary session | boulder, colorado

When Alex reached out to us on Instagram, we were thrilled to hear she and Tanner were planning to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in Colorado. We immediately clicked with her love for our aesthetic and started planning their session for early October.

Meeting Alex and Tanner in person was like reconnecting with old friends. Within minutes, we were deep in conversation about everything from their Midwestern roots to their dreams and wedding memories.

We kicked off their anniversary shoot with a hike to a picturesque spot by the water. We set up a cozy picnic where Alex and Tanner celebrated their one year together with some adorable cupcakes and glasses of wine. Watching them giggle and feed each other was the cutest moment—we loved getting to celebrate their anniversary alongside them!

After the picnic, we snapped some sweet photos by the water before heading to one of our favorite secret spots. The view of the Rocky Mountains was breathtaking, and seeing Alex and Tanner’s reactions to it was a highlight of the day. Alex even got adventurous, climbing onto the rocks to soak in the sunset’s final moments.

Their anniversary session was not just about capturing beautiful photos—it was about celebrating their love in a place that felt as special as their bond. We had a blast getting to know them and being part of their celebration.
